Picked up the T-fal Essentials Pro 12-piece stainless steel set and it covers most of what I need day to day. The 8.5IN and 11IN frypans heat evenly, and the covered saucepans plus the 5.2QT dutch oven handle soups and stews fine. The four nylon tools are a nice bonus so I don't scratch the surface. Cleanup takes a bit of effort since stainless shows water spots, but nothing a quick soak won't fix. Solid everyday cookware for the price range.
