I picked up the T-fal EZ Clean Deep Fryer for family fish-and-chips nights. The oil-draining dial is the standout feature — after cooking, a simple turn lets the oil flow into the storage container, so cleanup takes a fraction of the time it used to. Frying is even and the basket handles a good batch of fries or chicken. It does take up counter space and the oil still needs changing eventually, but for the convenience it delivers, it's a solid buy.
